Megan’s Musings: Preparing for an Emergency

The Fort McMurray wildfire was devastating and left many pets stranded. Most were unable to get back home to retrieve their pets so they were forced to make the heart-wrenching decision to leave them behind. Or others were able to quickly grab them and but left with minimal items for their care. This month, I want to share some ideas on how we can prepare for an emergency, some tips on ways to help our pets during one and review how to help them cope after an emergency has happened.
